Class 9 is taught by Mrs Dorricott
Additional teaching and learning is supported by Ms Dicken, Mr Hannan, Miss Fieldhouse and Miss Adams.
Year 5 PE and Music
All Year 5 children need to bring their PE kits every Tuesday.
If your child takes a school instrument home, they will need to bring it for their dedicated Music lesson every Tuesday.
Year 5 Homework
Homework is set every Friday and uploaded to Seesaw. Children have until the following Friday to complete any homework set. Homework books can be used to complete any tasks in unless the tasks are online.
At least two Reading Plus tasks shouls be completed at home alongside regular practise of times tables and spellings using EdShed, My Maths and Times Tables Rock Stars. Children should also be reading regularly at home (Collins Big Cat book or free reader book) and recording a comment in their reading diary every time that they read.
We encourage children to compete Pink Journal reading tasks too (they have a special book for this) relating to their reading book.
