Woodland Trust - Green Trees for Schools Award

Our school is just one of 7000 that is involved in the 'Green Trees for School's Award', run by the Woodland National Trust. We are extremely pleased to have achieved the 'gold' award and are currently aiming towards platinum. The reason we have got involved with the Woodland Trust, is to encourage outdoor learning and help us to inspire our pupils to appreciate and care for woods, trees and wildlife as well as improving our own environment. Our pupils have really enjoyed the environmental activities carried out so far and appreciate the trees we have been given by the Trust, which have helped to improve our school grounds and the wildlife that they attract.
